This isn't really an idea. Would like to bring this to the city's attention. This is a facebook post by Caren Braider. The post showed pictures of the victims legs chewed up. What is the Clearlake community and Clearlake Animal Control waiting for?
😱 Does a child really have to get mauled waiting for the school bus for this issue to be taken seriously?
•Tammy Oakes took a different route to walk her dog because she saw a loose dog running. Only to walk into a loose pack that turned on her little dog. she threw herself over the body of her little dog to protect him, as the pack attacked her body literally from head to toe.
.Where is the help for neutering?
•Where are the citations for unfixed and loose running dogs in Clearlake?
•Where is the new shelter for Animal Control? The few dogs they take are living in DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS
•Clearlake Authorities: WHERE IS THE MONEY? WHERE HAS IT GONE? Because it SURE HASNT GONE TO HELP CLEARLAKE DOGS!!!

The epidemic of wild, unleashed and abandoned dogs roaming the Avenues is dangerous and a threat to public safety. I have spoken to many people who tell me that they have either been victims of dog attacks or are too afraid to allow their children to play outside or go outside for a walk. This is unacceptable. We need the council to address hiring more Animal Control Officers and begin enforcing leash and licensing laws. These dogs need to be taken off the streets so people can feel safe. It is only a matter of time before someone is fatally attacked. I respectfully request that the City Council take some form of positive action in light of this. I will gladly volunteer my time to help in any way I can and I believe other's would too. This affects our entire community. We need to change it. Make our streets safe again. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider this.
